The front floors of the CJ were pretty rotted out so we decided to put new floor pans in. Initially, we were going to replace both the front and back floor pans. We ordered 4 replacement floor pans from http://www.c2cfabrication.com/. They were $29.99 each plus shipping. They are made of 18 gauge steel. We were really happy with the quality of the product. After taking out the seats, we discovered that the rear floor pans did not need replacing. There was only a couple spots under the drivers side seat that needed patching.
New Floor Pan
To start, Mark cut the front floors out with a cut off wheel. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures of the cut out floors. To create patches for the driver’s side holes under the seat, he cut a few pieces out of the new rear floor pan. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures of that step either. He then tack welded the new floor pans using a mig welder. Here are the pictures of the new front floor pans and patches under the driver’s side seat.
